First up was the Erskine Park High School Band, playing an up-beat set of concert music and revving up the growing audience.

Band members included Brooke McElhinney on bass clarinet, Jake La Farla on tuba, Ben Gray on trumpet, Ben Mills on sax, Michaela Gray on clarinet, Anne Gray on flute and Ashleigh Cullen on drums and fill in conductor!

To find out when this great young band’s playing again, visit www.erskineparkhs.com.au.

Next up was KAZZAM, a hot duo of Carol Zammit and Jono, playing a rocking set of hits from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and beyond.

Check out this you-tube video for a peek at their talent! Carol’s classically trained and has quite the voice, while apparently someone showed Jono how to play the guitar once..

They’re regulars at the Nepean Rowing Club, the Bankstown Trotters Club and the Penrith Gaels Club so keep an eye out for them.

The martial arts demo sent our sound guy, Pete, running for cover with Stewart Halicek of ICE DRAGON SELF DEFENCE displaying techniques of Karate, Taekwondo and Boxing.

A special thanks to Karen Chester, the Committee and sub-committee for organizing the day and to sponsors St Mary’s Band Club, Professionals Real Estate, Gorilla Sports, Ness Alarms and Superior IT Technologies.

The day was extremely well organized, and thankfully, after 2 weeks of solid rain, the weather was perfect.

The Pipe and Brass Band

Magic To The Max had kids and adults alike laughing and cheering at his repertoire of tricks and jokes – he was hilarious!
